Underpinning my professional career has been a concern to make the arts relevant and accessible to people of all ages, abilities, social, ethnic or economic backgrounds.

From 1989 – 2007 Education Curator at Yorkshire Sculpture Park responsible for an extensive cross-arts education programme for schools and colleges, an inter-disciplinary public programme to engage family and casual visitors, inclusive community artist-led initiatives, projects and workshops, residencies and bursaries for artists at the beginning of their career, exhibitions, skills-based sculpture courses, seminars and conferences.
Previously worked for regional TV as a photographer and graphic designer, travelled widely, lectured in F.E., H.E., for W.E.A (Workers Education Association) and taught in schools.
